Cargo is a very risky procedure. The cargo hold get very cold while in flight and very warm on the ground, as someone mentioned. The temperature in the cargo hold is NOT controlled. Bottles wouldn't work either, they don't make bottles big enough, last time I checked, and you wouldn't be able to regulate the temp there either... I would ship them 2nd day before I left, take the tank, ect. down, and back the filter and gravel in a bag of water in a box that you plan on taking with you when you move, then fly to your new location, and set up the tank right away with your still wet media, you probably won't have much of a mini-cycled, so once your fish arrive, just plop them into the tank.
