Treats for my fish?

I just started my tank not to long ago. I am looking for some treats to feed to my fish.

Tank Specs:

5 Serpae Tetra's
2 Angle Fish
1 Spotted Pleco

55 Gal.
2 Penguig 330 Filters
Wood Stand and hood.
 
I recently put some frozen peas (with the skin peeled off, very easy to do on frozen peas) in my tank and everyone went nuts over them!

Lightly blanched cucumber (think you lot call it zuchini?) or lettuce normally go down well with the pleco's.....
 
Fishsmurf... zucchini and cucumbers are similar looking, but different veggies :) -- and both make great treats for fish... I put a slice of cucumber in the tank once a week or so!

:o - Doh - Thanks Dwayne...... Errmmm it's the language barrier honest. It's got nothing to do with the fact I know very little about veggies. I only eat them coz my fiance won't let me get down from the table til there all gone.... And I'm 33 :rolleyes: Thats why as many as poss end up going to the tanks.... :cool:
 
hehe, you need to get a big 2 foot black pacu like Mojo's. That thing is a vegetable-disposing-machine!
 
LOL fishsmurf, I figured language barrier was the reason for the confusion... that's funny that your fiance makes you eat your veggies - my husband won't eat any veggie except potatos (not even really a veggie in my book) and corn (no nutritional value)... which is part of the reason why we don't have a dog - when he was little he used to sneak his green beans and peas to his dog, lol!!!

In addition to veggie treats, your fish will really like Brine shrimp (frzen or live) and I have found very few fish that don't go nuts for white worms.

hi, just wondering I have 3 tiger barbs, 3 green tiger barbs, 2 black phantom tetras and an otocinclus can anyone suggest anything that i can put in that will keep all my aquatic friends happy and healthy I already give them some krill with there standard tropical fish flake food and I cant help but feel bad for them I mean thats really all I ever feed them so I am looking for something to give them but im not sure if some things that one will love are poisonous to another and I have not had much luck with the matter...can anyone help me
