Trickling Noise from My Canister Filter ...

Got a new tank (36 gal bowfront after moving and just set up yesterday. My canister filter, an Eheim Ecco, was out of use for a few months before setup. It seems to be running fine but there is a constanct water trickling noise coming from it that I cant seem to get rid of. I think there is an air pocket trapped at the top, but after emptying and refilling a couple times, I can't seem to get it to go away. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Nevermind, guys, finally got the air out .... rocking and tilting was expelling some air but not enough. But carefully and slowly levering the handle open and shut a couple times gave it a good belch. It's finally silent! Yay! I was a little afraid to try that thinking I'd flood the place ...

Are you seeing any air bubbles on the return side. I also had an air pocket in my Fluval what seem to work in clearing was that i removed the out tube from the tank and layed it in a small bucket on the floor.
