Trigger versus Hawkfish

I was wondering if a 2" pixy hawkfish could kill a 3" niger trigger?

IMO i would say yes. I had a pixie and it was a mean sucker! It would chase everyone in the tank around and would not let the others feed!

I doubt it, IME pixies get along with agressive and semi-agressive fish, but they're NASTY with any fish that's a pushover. Mine is constantly testing his tankmates (dottyback, angels, sixline & damsels), taking runs at them, but all they need to do is give him a little attitude and he backs down. They're a lot of talk, not so much action as long as the other fish is fairly tough.
