I was in a LFS, and they were clearing out there pond plants for the season. So, they sold me a bunch of Frogbit for a buck. I'm new to plants and was wondering if I can trim the root system of the plants?
Those roots are one of the attractions of frogbit. Great for fry cover, good place for fish to spawn and they look neat. But yes, you can trim them and they will grow back and you can trim them again
Thanks, That's what I got them for, most only hang down 4-5 inches. But a few are really long almost a foot. So, I just want to trim down for tank appearance.
