I live in SW Ohio and have a 55g planted aq.\with fish. I also have a 1500g outdoor koi pond. My aquaruim plants are frequently trimmed and discarded (no one in wilmington, ohio is too interested in my trimmings). I was wondering if some these plants will fair well in my outdoor pond? I have a few species that I might try as floaters or marginals (red ludwegia, amazon swords). Most of my pond is 4' deep but have some 1.5'deep plant shelf areas.
