its ok, I felt it was, and I was really thinking I was asking questions not only for Jeo4 but in case Iwanted to start one, which now I do Im cool, HAve a good night
Personally, just to interject here, the couple of points that Napoli stated were quite valid points..
There is a wealth of information here on the AC and the search features are brilliant compared to alot of other forum based boards..
I do agree with both sides though...But, i dont agree that it was a "call out". Napoli was merely stating a few points from his point of view..Which he/she is more than entitles to do...
I'm thinking we can start a thread that could maybe/possibly/hopefully become a sticky for the top of this forum.
It seems to me that so many newcomers are interested in starting up a SW tank and just want to know the basics- "what would I initially need to start (or convert to) a SW tank?" Some of us either answer and/or give other forum thread links, which there are multiple amounts to choose from, for them to read.
The stickies on top are great regarding crushed coral, clean-up crews, cycling, etc. I really think a sticky stating the basics to the all too familiar start-up questions would be beneficial to all.
It is a valid point 5xevy...But, there are so many points of view on that subject and i think that a sticky would go off into too many different directions and it would cause far too much confusion to new comers who are thinking of starting a marine system..
However, saying that, i am currently writing a kind of Q&A article which effectivly addresses all the newbie questions that have been asked on the forum..They are the actual questions posted aswell and for the answers i am generalising all the answers so it is not just my point of view and i will request that it be locked to posting else, as said above, it will get far too confusing...
Hope this will help new people coming into the marine world...
