Turtles in pond

I had to 2 water turtles that I had in an aquarium for a year. I decided to put them in my pond. It is about 700 gal with 2 filters, a uv light , a waterfalls and several fish, I saw them for about a week and a half, but I haven't seen them since. They have places they can come out of the water but they can't get out of the pond . So they could't have strayed away. I would have thought if they had died that I would have seen their bodies or shells.
Any one have any ideas what might be going on?:screwy:

I remember my old pond of turtles. Sometimes they would be at the dry spot basking. Sometimes they were to not be seen. I often saw them when it was feeding time. Oh it was lovely and cute. I do remember times when I didn't see any. I'm sure they are still in your pond. Unless it overflowed and your neighboors knocked on your door and asked if these were my turtles. True story :3

That is a good possibility. Or maybe it was a cat or dog?
