Two New Feather Dusters (Green and Purple)

I decided to treat myself after I finally took my evil blue leg crab back (last straw was when he ended up killing a feather duster).

Here are my two new ones. I thought the duster was yellow at first, but under my light it looks green.

Thanks :) I hope to get a better picture once I turn my lights on again.


I never thought of fireworks. Nice observation. They do look like fireworks since you can't see the tubes.
 
Kickas$. I love featherdusters. I think they are so cool. I really like the purple one there.

The Yellow/Green one looks exactly like my Yellow/Green Feather Duster. Does it change from Green to Yellow or sort of pulsate between colors? That's what mine does. It's wicked cool.

I know, feather dusters are quite amazing :) I think every tank needs at least one :)

Mine definitely favors green verses yellow. But sometimes you will see yellow at the tips. The center of duster is a very vivid green. Light is also a factor. When I used flash to try to take a picture the duster appeared more yellow.

Do you have some pictures of yours? I love looking at other dusters. I thought my feather duster craze would die down after I got some corals but dusters still rate number one to me :)

Side Note: The purple one is actually double coiled. Its pretty cool to view. I will try to get a better pic one day.

Your right. Our greens look very similar. Yours has a beautiful crown too. Did you add it to the tank?

And I love your banded purple also. I also have a similar one. But I am waiting for the crown to grow back since my evil crab attacked it.
