I have about 20 guppy fry that I'll soon cut down to 5. (There's a local pet store that will give me store credit for them, which is great!) The only problem is one of them looks....strange. I don't want to sell her if she's sick, but honestly, I don't want a sick fish either >.<. I'm just trying to figure out if it's a problem that I could fix, or if it's just a deformed fry... She looks like she's got something wrong with her back. Like she's a hunchback. I'm trying to get a photo of her, but my camera sucks. I'm going to borrow my mom's camera in a bit and see if that works any better.
But do y'all know what could cause a hunchback in a guppy?

Not sure how old they are. They are just starting to show color...well...2 of them are, anyway. 2 males are orange and blue, the others are still white and grey.

MS?

Keep him. If it gets too bad, use him as bait.

My dad has a guppy like that, she has a hard time swimming and we are probably going to have to put her down soon.

OK, well, I really don't want to go thru setting up another tank for one guppy that may or may not make it....So I suppose I should just do away with her, huh?
Any clue as to what caused that? Was it just a birth defect or something i did?

It is a birth defect which is common when guppies try to interbreed with those of the same bloodlines. This is very common in livebearers so it's not really that surprising
