Under gravel jets.

If you are using PFS a substrate, How would under gravel jets work, wouldn't they blow the sand up. Or is there a way to position them in a fashion that would keep this from happening, read several articles about them but never for use with sand I would like to try it. Does anyone have any advice?

It could work with sand, it will make it look like a wave or earthquake is going on. Pretty cool looking but i bet it wont be so fun for fish and decor.

I have a very simple UGJ set-up with sand and it's fine. Sand doesn't blow around as much as you'd think as it's quite heavy.

what angle do you use on you heads, do they blow srtaight across the sand or slightly up?

What are you trying to do first?

Undergravel jets? To add current on the bottom fo your tank so all the waste and trash gets blowned up and makes your bed looks clean?

If your talking about the first one, a couple powerheads hooked up to a spraybar will fix that.
