A few weeks ago I bought some Emperor Tetras, within 2 days I noticed what looked like Ich on some of them so out came the Ich meds, a full course later and one of them still had white spots and what looked like fine white threads on him (it had to be one of only 2 males
), these have now grown and are about a centimeter long and 1mm thick. He has them on both sides. I am now treating with Sterazin for worms and flukes. They aren't gone yet and are bigger, althought the slime coat covering them is slowly disappearing, the tiny ones aren't growing and have started to disappear or drop off.
Anyone ever seen anything like this before?? I've seen Ich, anchor worm, fish lice and flukes on goldfish (some goldfish in shops in Britain are very very poorly ) but I've never seen anything like this before!!!
