I am taking the Amtrak to Chicago from Toledo and then I have to change to the Metra and go north to Wisconsin. Does anyone have experience with Union station? How does it work to go from Amtrak to Metra-is there clear signs, etc? Are they opposite sides of the same building or do I have to go outside Union station? Any information would be wonderful!

It is very easy to navigate Union Station in Chicago.The Metra system and The Amtrak trains are completely seperated.
Thanks cyberbeer. This is the first train I have taken in 20 years so I am a bit nervous about the procedure.
