 I posted earlyer about my new albino tiger oscer chaging colors. I went back to the store and i told them about it, they said that i am not feeding it proper food, so i switched to ciclid food, and the colors got even darker from albino to almost regular color tiger oscer you couldn't tell the difrence, eccept the eyes they still look pinck or red, He is growing like crazy he is twice the size off when i bought him. He looks very healthy and eats like crazy. Joeski

oscars as with all other cichlids can change color with depending on temperment. My tiger oscar is almost always black but when I toss june bugs in the tank he goes nuts and sometimes turns a light grey. If he is growing like crazy then he is a healthy oscar. I wouldnt worry too much about color changes unless he stays a certain color for extended periods that is not his normal coloration. :)

When im not in the room my oscar turns this greeny color it's kinda gross. (he stays like that until he sees me so thats how i no). but when he does see me he turns pure black. his name is oscar...

lol does he live in a trash can?

lots of fish change color with temperment, my late pleco (i probly said THE word too much) changed from speckled to blotchy to pitch black, all depending on what it was sitting on (black- the background, blotchy- the rocks in my tank, speckled- the gravel)
it was really cool to watch

my serpae (sp?) tetras will also change color with their mood as well as my black tetras

lol no he doesn't he lives in a ten gallon since he's a baby i'll be moving him soon though!
