Updated pics of my re-born 150g goldfish tank.

hey y'all. its been 2 weeks since my incompetent brother killed off all my expensive imported goldies, and so this time around I've purchased cheap goldies from the LFS. They've been in QT (my neighbors pond) for a week now, and since they looked healthy and my tank was cycled, I took them back.

They're all very excited. Im guessing thats because they had to compete with koi for food for the last couple days.

Well anyways, enjoy the pics.

AS you can probably notice, half the tank is more yellow than the other. Thats because I used 10000k lights on one side, and 6500k on the other.

IMO, 10000k is totally better than 6500k

Nice aquarium - those sure are some spoiled goldies; maybe in 5 years it wont look so spacious.

question is your cat ok as in normal ,only my ginger cat, this is from the vet that he is suffering from senilty due to his age, and has ocd

I get what you're saying derringer, when the goldfish grow-up this tank wouldnt be very confortable for them. When they get to be around 8" long, I usually sell them if they look nice or put them in my neighbor's koi pond.

Nah, I really wasn't concerned with future stocking conditions - just saying how spoiled those select few are with so much space "today" when they are so small. Takes a lot of discipline to not stock a dozen or more in that big of a tank - it really looks nice though!

I am totally with you, once they get to a certain size 8"+ they really need to be in a pond - personally even if I had a 5000g indoor aquarium I wouldn't want big goldies in it.
