I would really love to upgrade my lighting so I can start housing some soft corals. Currently I just have a standard 15W. The only problem is I hardly see any fixtures and blubs for my 10G. Its about 18-20" long. I did see one fixture/bulb, but its $160 dollars (for 96W). I was hoping to find something a bit cheaper. Can anyone provide me with a specific model that I might be able to order online and a link to it?

160 dollars is a bit much actually, a 24" i found costs 130 dollars and it throws off 130 watts.

they are all gona be that much really. i found one for $124 on the link ill add. that will do ok for softies but not to much. t5s would really be better or even a tiny halide.

Thanks for the link. I really like that website, what about this one?

Price is what is making me hesistate at the moment. Have you ever tried buying used ones online? If so, any recommendations on what websites I could check out?

Would the 24" be okay for my tank? I know it might hang off a bit. Never tried it before.

the 24" fixture uses 21" bulbs so it should be fine, another good thing about it is if you plan on upgrading it might still fit the next tank.
