using epoxy in an aquarium?

I posted a couple weeks ago about a tile mosaic I made for my 75 gallon goldfish tank.

You gotta love the power of water. Current from the canister returns have pulled up quite a few tiles on the bottom panels. Over the next week I want to pull them out of the tank, stick the missing tiles on with silicone and then give each panel a coat of epoxy, in hopes that will keep the tiles in place.

Is there a special type of epoxy I should get? Any ingredients to avoid? How long a cure before I put it back in the tank?

For those who have used epoxy-how thick a coat would you think? Just enough to get between the tiles? Or should I make some sort of form and make a coat (multiple coats?) that would completely cover the tiles by a fraction of an inch?

I have access to a greenhouse with good ventilation to do this and the temperature shouldn't drop below 50 unless there's a major power outage.

The back panels have lost just a couple tiles that probably weren't stuck well in the first place. I've seen a mention of underwater glue from Drs. Foster and Smith--think that would work? I'd be sticking glass tiles onto a skin of silicone over glass. I don't think those panels will require epoxy, at least at this time.

I have used the Marine epoxy. It is a stick that is green wityh white in the middle. It works very well andcan be handled under water. It cures in a hour or so. I would use that and skip the silicone. But once its on it hardens like concrete and you will have to break the tiles to get them out if you have to.
