I've just bought a 15W Vecton UV, and preferably would like to house it in the cabinet beneath my tank. However, it is too large to fit lying down, and I'm just wondering what the views of people are on standing it up on one end? Is this a total no-no? I'm aware that you can wall mount it, and it comes with rubber feet so ideally would be better simply sitting on the floor, but can it be stood on one end? Would this place too much pressure on the motor in the external filter?
