Hey folks, I need your help, please. Almost time for summer vacation and I'm hoping I didn't forget anything. I'll be gone for 5 days this time so here's what I have set up:

(3) 5 gallon kalk dispensers dripping very slowly into sump. (Tank evaps about 2.5 gallons per day).

(1) 6 gallon bucket of R/O hooked up to an autotopoff setup (2 floats)

All lights and fans on timers

2 heaters. 1 up/ 1 down in sump (both 200watts)

indivual packets of food with instructions

water change

clean skimmer

What else?
thanks,
Tom

Do you have an LFS you can trust. If so give your keeper their number as well, should the worst happen!

Another good one. Only guy I trust is about 25miles away, but he could talk them through the crisis.

Did train the keepers, but didn't leave an emergency number. Excellent!
Thanks,
Tom
Give them the police station number, the ambulance number, the fire department number, and tell him/her if those don't work call the LFS.

Just got back now and the tanks survived. In fact, they look better than when I take care of them.

Let's see, everybody had their hands out of the tank...regular feedings at regular times...didn't feel the need to rearrange anything. Could this be the secret to reefkeeping? No, time to get the gloves on and see what I can mess up.:)

Thanks for the help, Folks,
Tom

Glad it all went smoothly!!! Maybe you should invest in a time-release lock so you can't keep sticking your hands in it!!

And that suggestion was definately a case of "do as I say and not as I do" as I'm a swine for re-arranging the rock!!

You got me laughing at that one!:)
