hi there,one of my platties appears to have a slight case of velvet,at least thats what i think it is..normally that wouldnt be a problem,however,i have in my tank 6 amano shrimp,my question is,can anyone recommend a cure thats compatible with my shrimp?? cheers.

I could be wrong but I don't think Maracide will kill inverts. I used some and all my snails survived it and seem fine.
ok,thanks..going to the lfs tomorrow,will see what they got..thought id ask here first,not sure my lfs is all that clued up!!!!
Basically anything with copper will kill inverts so steer clear of that. Maracide uses Malachite Green which is a copper oxide, but it didn't have a warning on it like the other Ich treatments did.
