Velvet?

I think my Betta has velvet but I am not sure. I couldn't get a picture of it (trust me I tried) because my Betta moves around too much and my camera is really bad. The suspected velvet is very concentrated. The suspected velvet is on my Betta's stomach in a very concentrated area. I have not seen it anywhere else. The suspected velvet is rust colored. Please post a pic of any kind of fish (not just Bettas) with velvet to help me figure out if what I am seeing is velvet or just coloration that I never noticed before. :1zhelp: :help2:

I think it looks like white little dot like patches on the skin, but i'm not sure. None of my fish have ever had it, but I have read about it. Maybe google it, try to find a picture or two. It should help you decide if this is what you are dealing with or something else.

What you are describing is called ich. I tried googling fish with velvet and I only Found one picture of a fish with visible velvet and it was not a very good picture.
