I just wanted to comment that Tom Barr's Venturi design is absolutely amazing. My tank went from having problems getting CO2 above 15 ppm to easily breaking 30 ppm (which is the upper limit) with excessive surface movement. I used a powerhead and a cut up bottle of dasani (250 mL) for the diffusion chamber.

You can use old Floruish 500ml bottles etc also, the veiwtainers are easy and the reactor is better than any other reactor design out there, why? Because I designed them to begin with
I used them when I was trying to maximize the DIY CO2 content getting into the tanks. These reactors make it much much easier for anyone to run DIY effectively.
