There are 2 very, very small white patches on my Betta's mouth. It may just be one of those things ( things that look like illnesses but aren't ), but I don't wanna take my chances. This is a happy, active betta. My tank is cycled and well maintained. I don't see any reason why she would be sick, but I just want to make sure. I googled " MOUTH FUNGUS " and none of the pictures looked like what I see on my Betta. Can someone please tell me what the early stages of mouth fungus looks like, and a bit about it? If it helps, pictures can be posted.

:Could I please have some feedback, starting to get worried:

I will get you some pictures, and BTW, the patches have gotten bigger. I'm not sure if it is just colour change or what. Should I get a test kit then?

Which one would you recommend?

Thx for link, will post pics soon.

Sounds like a bad fungal infection. Bettas don't seem very prone to it, but its possible. Here are some pics. (Not mine, just off the internet.)
