I have noticed for a few days now that one of my zebra danios is very thin and not eating. I tried to get him to eat a time or two, but no luck. At every feeding, he seems to want to eat, but it seems almost like he's picky of how big the flakes are. His mouth looks okay, he looks like he'll hyper extend it a few times every few minutes. His breathing doesn't look hard, but every time he does the behavior above it seems to get harder just for a few seconds. The lfs said it could be internal parasites, and that if I'd already tried to feed him food for internal parasites, that there wasn't much else I could do. I wanted to get a second opinion here before I did anything. What else could I do for this little guy?

i had that same problem, and i was told it was parasites as well, mine died about 3 days ago. sorry to say this, but yours might too. best thing to do unless anyone gives u better advise is put it out to save it pain, or just wait it out and hope for the best.

Same problem, I put him in his own tank and fed him bloodworms or finely ground up algea tablets. Keep the water slighty acidic and around 80 to 85. Took mine about 4 days but they are well as ever.
