who wishes there was one for fish? deletes the guessing game with which disease a fish has... ah what a dream

what else should be added to help fish hobbyists?

I haven't had to euthanize a fish yet, but I wish I could take it to a vet who could do the job more effectively than I would. I'll have to ask my vet about that next time... Maybe they can slip me some meds....

I wish you could hire someone to do weekly maintenance (if it were cheap) and to help move/set up a tank. There is a slight chance I will move in the next few months and I dread trying to do it with a 180g tank :thud:

Heh...working where I do I get asked at least 3 times a week if I will make house calls for set-up and maintenance. I wonder if that would really pay, you know?
I wish there was a such thing as a fish vet too. You can take just about every other kind of pet to one, why not fish?

hey if you start doing housecalls, ill pay you to come over and save my fish

My buddy Steve who owns a pet shop, also has an add on the outside of his store, advertising aquarium husbandry services. So the service is out there, just not common.

I've been thinking about doing it as a side job. I would enjoy getting to check out other aquariums, and educating people about their fish.

Besides, I don't make enough at work, lol. Cool job, but low pay.

Hey, I'd make a house call for ya if you live in Greenville, no problem!
If you live in Michigan I might make a house call then stay! I wanna go back there so bad I can taste it. :(

Ok, that's it! Free vet treatments for my fat hog goldfish?!?! I'm going back to MI! hurdledude, you want a couple roommates? You like cats, right?
:joke:
