I have just purchased a ViaAqua 650 cannister filter. It did not come with media other than one coarse and one fine filter pad. This thing has two media baskets......what, exactly, should be installed in the baskets ?
My Fluval 404 has easier instructions.....coarse media (mechanical, carbon, etc.) on the bottom, fine media on the top (bio-max rings).
If the water flows from bottom to top in the ViaAqua, my question is answered, but they don't tell me how it flows.
