:) Hi guys im looking for a skimmer for my 1.2 meter setup (300 liters). I payed a visit to my lfs and he could offer me a via aqua in sump or a weipro hang on.
The via aqua works out a bit cheaper and comes to a really good price.
Has anyone had some sort of experience with these skimmers. Another quick one on lighting-- I decided to invest in a T5 lighting system- 4 times 28 watt.
Would this be sufficient lighting? The other option would be going for halide, but thats like 3 times more expensive. Please help

For what exactly, what do you plan to keep?

Haven't even heard of the skimmers you mentioned till' now.

Hi sorry. Im just gonna start off with mostly fish and build my reef slowly Ill be stocking the tank with all sorts, corals mostly

I never used their skimmers but I do own a ViaAqua Pump and its alot cheaper then its competitors and runs just fine.
Chubbs :look:

A pump is one thing ,but a skimmer is another!!,,,best do your homework and purchase a good skimmer,,,,is it going in sump or hang on?

Id prefer a in sump but would like to know which would work better. The in sump would be easier...
