For those of you that had a nes back in the day (or even now), you must have played mike tyson's punchout. For those that have, remember the frustration of fighting tyson the first few times? His lightning punches in the first round are killer. Tonight I tried it after not playing it for years, and I actually beat tyson. I expected to get creamed since it had been so long since I played it. It wasn't until the third round, but I beat him... It can be hard when you don't remember his pattern.

I love that game. I just bought a new house and I have come across my old NES system so I am hooking that baby up and getting back to the good old games. Ahh MArio you will be victorious.

I rememebr the first time I beat old Tyson, but then again he has that ear biting move now so I don't know if I will be that successful anymore.
 
What games do you have? By the way, just beat him by TKO in the second round without getting hit. I wonder if it's even possible to beat him in the first round? I don't think you can hit him at all for the first 1:30 while he does his lightning punches....
 
You actually CAN hit him during that harrowing 1:30 of the first round. However, I have never knocked him out before the second. It took me 15 years (I wish I was kidding) to beat him for the first time and, when I finally did, I was so busy celebrating I had to beat him again just to see the ending.

15 years, that is persistant.

My games (if I can remember) are 1943, Super MArio, Final Fantasy, Zelda, Rad Gravity, Wolverine, XMen, and my all time favorite Bionic Commando.

I also have a NES emulator for my computer and I have access to 100's of games. I just beat Castle Vania the other night. Good times.

I'll have to try hitting him tonight during the first 1:30, just throw some random punches here and there... I don't remember the first time I beat him, but I bet I was happy. :)

Have you ever beat the second quest? I decided to take a crack at it a month or two ago (I've went through the first quest a million times, don't know why I never really tried the second). I was having fun, and then one day I somehow moved the actual cartridge part of the game out of place, and now it won't fit in the connecter slot in the nintendo.
