I have a digital video camera and tons of tapes of footage. Its my intention to that that footage and edit it into coherrent dvds. What stands in my way is video editing software.

Does anyone use/know of/heard about/recommed a decent, easy to use, video editor? I'm thinking about something in the $100 range. I'd love for it to be real simple to set up and use so I don't have to spend a week reading instructions. I'm not interesting in real fancy effects, just the basics.

Haven't used the Nero Vision, but I really like other Nero products, if that's an endorsement. I haven't worked much with video editing, but likely would go with their product myself for that simple reason--the limited editing I have done, I used PSP, and while it works, it's not as easy or seamless, and I wasn't worried about pulling anything from a DVD.

My boss at work tapes his kid's football games and makes DVDs for the entire team, complete with highlight footage and cool music. :)

He swears by Dazzle.

Good luck!

Peace...
