Vieja Zonatum 1 year old. They were 2 inches when I got them. I bought 4 as Zonatum, but 2 started to transform in color. I posted pictures of them and other members identified them as Pink Fenestratum. However when I puchased them I took 2 out of 1 tank and 2 out of another. So maybe the tank was not labeled correctly. But these are suppose to be the Zonatum.

Nice vieja's! So how is that species temperament? I'm the proud owner of an evil Vieja maculicauda and he's just mean as can be.

Overall my experience is that the temperament is not bad. However with Vieja Maculicauda I have found them to be very mean. A first for me was when I seen my BB eat a pleco. I have heard that Zonatus can be mean at times. My Synspilums, Bifasciatus, Regani, and even Argentea have been pretty even keel.

Interesting. The only fish that could ever put my black belt in his place was my Jag and Loisellei when I had them. And when I was rotating tanks my Polleni use to beat the snot out of him, lol!

Nice fish.
