Dale, what part of Kauai is Koloa? We were just down there two months ago. Spent a week in a vacation home in Princeville. One thing that I'll always remember is you guys will never starve to death with all the chickens it seems like within a stone's throw no matter where you are on the island. :p: Those things are everywhere!

Aloha BBN,

Koloa is on your way down to Poipu on the south shore. When you go down Tree tunnel, you will end up in Koloa at the end.

Hey, they were trying to make the chicken the state bird hahahahaa. I have heard of people trying to eat those things but they are very tough. There are a lot of them :D

Princeville, Nice place but wouldnt want to live there  Princeville is what everyone calls Haoli wood. It is a great place to stay though with Hanalei right there. I hope you had a good time.

I just noticed something about the aquarank page- there is one column that says "in" and it seems to be the current number of votes per site. There is another column that says "out" however. Does that mean we can vote against a site on aquarank?

Dale,
I wasn't really fond of Princeville either. I actually would've prefered to have been further south. It was cloudy or raining everyday. The beaches are an aquarist's playground! Lots of amazing and colorful fish along the reef right there on the beaches. especially on beaches with a shelf. A pair of goggles are a like ticket to a huge aquarium. We went scuba diving through Blue Dolphin and it was fun down there with the masses of Trigger fish. I could've swore that I saw a Scorpion fish on the bottom. Are they around Hawaii? Especially if you can I'm looking forward to coming back someday.
