Walmart Tanks?

Not sure. I only checked their online flyer to see what deals they had coming up in May. I think I'm going to get rid of some unused musical equipment and use that to fund a 72gal :)

Wal-mart tanks are good for beginners. I have 2 of them and have not had any problems with them. If you want an upgrade on anything that comes in the kit, they will offer advise and suggestions on what they think will be the best replacements and they will send them to you at no cost. They even replaced a broken heater and upgraded them from 200 watts to 300 watts. Just call the 1-800#. They are manufactured and distributed by marineland.

Aren't the Wal-mart tanks supplied by Regent? I didn't know Marineland made them. Are you sure about that? I'm just curious.

Tyler,
You're both right. The tanks are "pieced" together with filter and heater from different manufacturer. The tank itself is a different manufacturer also. That's why when you open it everything is boxed seperately and you end up with a thousand 1-800 #'s you can call for help/problems/replacements.

By the way - since there are a lot of you in Canada it seems. I'm a huge aquarium/fish freak - have 8 tanks in the house now (9 if you count my brothers - need to teach him a little about the "babysitting" involved with fishtanks. Getting his tank started for him - the right way this time - first time around was a disaster!)
Anyways - I will be in Burnaby?? Sidney?? British Columbia in June on business. Any good pet stores up there??? Obviously not for fish - poor little guys - wouldn't want to put them through such a horrid trip.
I'm just always looking for new stuff.
Thanks!
Lisa

Now that you mention it you are right. I have bought a 29 and a 55 from Walmart. I had to go back and look in some old paper work. They came with Whisper filters (both long gone). I just forgot.
