wat are some fish compatible with tiger barbs (personal experience)

i was thinking on getting possibly 3-4 serpae tetras

wat fish are compatible with tiger barbs

are harlequim rasboras a good option?

please give me some options....i want to add about 4 more fish that get about 2 inches each one...

please dont say i cant get more fish

I had 3 tiger barbs and 3 green barbs in my community tank (40G at the time) along with other community and semi-aggressive fish. I never noticed them bullying any other fish but I have heard it just depends on the barb's personality - some are nice some are mean. Unfortunalty all the barbs died along with a few others when we had a long blackout at christmas 2 years ago.

Serpae tetras are pretty cool, we have 6 of them. They seem to get along fine with all of our fish.

I aggree with Serpae Tetras, They should be fine and will hold their own with the Tiger Barbs.

Neons and cardinals seems to be fine with them. The only fish my barbs have nipped are each other.

They seem to leave alone bottom dwellers like cory cats.
