No I don't use those additives. I usually just keep up with water changes rather than relying on chemicals to maintain my tank for me. One of these days, out of curiosity, I'm going to buy a whole bottle of that Waste Control and pour it into the grimiest, sludgiest tank and see if that stuff really breaks down all that crap it says it's supposed to.
