Just a few questions, my 55 Gal. tank has been sat up for approx. 2 months, and i have tested my water with the Pro. test kit, not the strips. Should I be allarmed with my ammonia level?
PH= 7.6
High PH= 7.4
Nitrite=0
Ammonia=.50
GH=6

Any feedback would be appraciated.

With Nitrate 0 it may mean you are still Cycling....You should have some Nitrates

i agree with knashash.. there's a big chance that u r not yet cycled..

with regards to ammonia levels, anything above 0 means a partial water change in my opinion :o

What all do you have in the tank? Any live plants? How do you clean your filters?

Does your water contain chloramine as a disinfectant? And does your conditioner specify that it neutralizes both the chlorine and the ammonia from chloramine? Many break the chlorine-ammonia bond, and neutralize the chlorine, but do nothing to the ammonia.
