Water Changes and Growth

I do a 25% water change once a week and feed twice a day. My tanks have been cycled for years now so i dont test water, maby i should. As long as my fish are eating and swimming normally i dont mess with it,But again our water is great here too..

I've had the water change discussion with my carpool buddy and several other people, and our consensus is that if you know it can only benefit your fish, why would you shy away from it? 25% is a good rule of thumb, stick with that and you should see faster development.

I feed my fish twice a day and do a 75% water change weekly

They get veggie flakes in the morning pellets at night, fast on Friday and get fresh lettuce on Saturdays water change on Sunday. I have had no losses, my fish look great and are growing nicely. I also rarely test my water, whenever I do everything is where it should be
