I have the Topfin water conditioner, and the others who live with me used to clean the tank. I found out one of the others was using the amount for a ten gallon tank, when we only have a four! I am now taking charge of the fish tank. I want to know when I can put the fish in after the conditioner. We are using tap water and adding the water conditioner. We were waiting twenty four hours before we put the fish in the tank, without acclimation. We used to do full water changes only when the water started looking dirty and algae all over the glass (Maybe even month and a half) and I realize how bad this was. I would also like to know how to clean the fake plants we have, they are covered in algae and look gross!

Use Prime for your conditioner.

Fake plants? Soak them in hot water and bleach, rinse well, then let them soak in clean water with some prime.

Instantly....it's a water conditioner to remove/lock up chlorine/chloramine.
