does anybody know how to take care of water frogs? ive got one that ive had for a year and i would like to know if there is any way i can make him more comfortable in deep water

i'm assuming you mean African Dwarf Frogs?

put plants in that reach the surface, they often like to float on the leaves and just chill out with their noses above the surface breathing.

they like still water, or one with as little current as possible. and get him a friend. you should have 2 or more. make sure they're in with peaceful, calm fish. give them food that sinks rather quickly, or use a turkey baster to squirt the food close to the frog so that they can get to it before the fish do (assuming you have them in with fish)

other than that, keep the water clean, check the perameters regularly, they like it about 80 degrees, and average water perameters. they're pretty adaptable. oh, and they need at least 1.5 gallons each.

I agree with trickster. Leopardess' article is definitely worth reading if you want more info on your ADF's (I'm assuming you mean ADF's also as I bought mine as aqua frogs) I had frogs for maybe two years and that article still enlightened me plenty. :o
