Just built a new house, moved my 150G in. Now for water changes, with Python of course. Hook it up the same way in the bathroom sink. But when I go to fill the tank with water, water leaks all over the inside of the vanity. The only way it doesn't leak is if I run the water very slooooooow. Of course this takes forever when your talking about a 150G tank.

Help

Check the gasket on the faucet--sounds like it could be cracked. Heck--make sure the gasket is there! Often, they stick to the faucet end, and you don't notice it until you go to hook the hose up to another faucet. If there's no gasket, it's an easy fix--and cheap.

It doesn't leak where you hook up the Python to the faucet. It's like there is a back presser and it starts leaking at the base of the faucet which drips into the vanity below.

Ahhh..Well, there should be a gasket there as well, but I would check the connections and make sure everything is snug, but not cranked down. Gaskets often go bad because something is tightened to far!
