hay has any one here heard of water lettuce?
I was told that that is the name. If anyone knows about it can you share any info on it. Want some for a 55.

Thanks in advance

Water lettuce is a pond plant that floats on the surface and resembles a softball size head of lettuce growing in a garden. You'll have to lower your water level and have some circulation across the water surface to keep it from getting burned or stuck in a shaded corner (at least that is my experience with floating plants). Nutrient levels in the water should be kept high for best growth.

I just added water lettuce to my 180. It's developing into a nice canopy to give my pleco a shady spot.

Raskolnikov has some awesome pics of this in the post pics of your plants sticky...

Hey thank's fot the info on it. I might get some. I need some cover for some possible fry. Thanks
