Water Quality - Adding Alkaline Water?

I have a water purifier at home that apparently, effectively remove chlorine and along the way also infuses water with ionic minerals and trace elements like iron, magnesium, zinc, calcium, sodium, potassium, manganese for human consumption. The purified water also has an increased alkalinity - pH 7.2 - pH 7.4.

Just out of curiousity, will it be ok to use this water in the aquarium?
Will it to any extent, be beneficial to the aquatic plants?
