Wavemaker VS Strong Air pump

Which would be better at providing more oxygen to the tank?

Currently i have 2 wavemakers in my 8 ft tank.
But thinking of removing one of the wavemakers which consumes about 20+ watts of electricity and adding a strong airpump which consumes only 17 watts,planning to attach 2 air disc and maybe some sponge filters to the air pump. which would be better in aerating my tank?

the wave maker probs does a better job. and prob looks better as well. i am not a fan of the air bubbles in the tank.

I point my wavemaker up at the surface for surface agitation (to increase oxygen).

Looks great too.
