is this one gallon fishtank with a 16 gph filter big enough to raise clownfish fry

I wouldn't put any fish in it, wouldn't raise clownfish fry in it either, even a small amount of evaporation would make salinity swing wildly, and there'd be a lot of waste build up with such a small volume of water.

How about a shrimp or crab and live rock?

Water change will be so easy. :grinyes:

if you were extra careful with the water parameters and stayed on the water top-offs like white on rice you would probably ok. but i'd say no fish...maybe just one crab or shrimp. you could do a small coral in there too if you liked...but then you've really gotta worry about the water parameters. maybe if you put saran wrap over the top that would help with water evaporation...
