I am new to saltwater tanks so I am not too familar with the tiny creatures that come along with liverock.

I spotted this thing on my liverock:

Anyone know what this is? Is it dead or alive? It might have shifted up a bit since I first saw it, but I am not quite sure.

Also, is there a page I can visit that will help me identify all the different little things that seem to be growing from my rock? (aka algae id, worm id)

I visited the wonderful bookmarked Hitchhiker ID board on this forum, but nothing there really matches.

Ah, thats exactly what it looks like! I even found an orange one on the internet. Chiton Coralinus. Its extremely small right now (about the size of a finger nail) so I dont think it will cause any major harm to the liverock. It also doesnt appear to be moving fast, but it has moved for sure. I picked a tiny whole as a reference point and have noticed it is almost passed it now.

Thank you both for your help. I hope to see many other different creatures start to appear as time goes on :)
