so.....i have posted recently about my algae problem in my tank and so i decided to pull all the ornaments and plants and toss them in a 10% bleach solution and clean them up all while rearranging my tank........ in my tank i have 2 convicts but they dont get along.......i do however have a gold severum who is best friends with the smaller convict and they share a log in the tank.....they are also very aggressive often chasing my green terror around........anyhow, as i am removing stuff from the tank, my gold severum is extremely angry even going as far as to actually bite my finger(keep in mind this severum isnt even three inches yet) !!!!! i go toss everything in the bleach solution and proceed to cleaning all of it when i notice that the log that the two share is covered on the underside with eggs which are now toast because i tossed them in a hot bleach solution.......now i know why the sev. is so mad!!!!! but now i am confused because i didnt think that the severum and convict could breed......trust me when i say they share the same log even when the two barely fit in it and they are both very aggressive........what do you guys think?
