Finally caught a decent fish in what seems like ages. It's called a Mangrove Jack, not huge but its pretty rare to catch one and they're tough fighters. It went right in under the mangroves and I only just managed to haul it out. My Dad also caught three fish called Grunters which are common, and yep they actually grunt :). It was a really nice day out (in tropical northern australia) so I took some pics of the scenery too.

Those are beautiful photos TN...wow, great shots...lucky you to go on a fishing trip.....but beautiful photos nonetheless....

Awesome! I love fshing. I went when I was in Florida and caught porgies, snapper and grouper.

Down here (or, up here..) in Florida, that fish looks almost like a mangrove snapper.
