really? with all the crazy continental weather you get there, i'd think you'd have it get down below zero a few times...Chickieepooh2u said:EEK! Thats cold!! It's in the 70's all week here, which is not normal. Not complaining though.
We have such an abundance of hay here, it's a shame I can't send up a truckload to feed the Moose. Alot of farmers sent hay over to Colo and Wy a few years to help feed the hoofstock there, when there wasn't enough food to go around.
usually by the time it gets below 10 degrees here, the grass dies, but man, it is still tough...fish_freak said:na once it frosts it dies off. The people who spend way to much on keeping perfect lawns still have mostly green grass but its not gowing anymore and for the rest of us its mostly brown by now. Wild grass is all gone as soon as we get a hard frost.
yeah... we had flooding here in mid october.fballguy said:It's been about 60 degrees here in WA for the last few days. Problem is we got this storm coming up from Hawaii dropping record rain, causing record flooding. Every river in western WA is flooding, one of them has levies that are currently overflowed. Entire towns are flooding, people are being forced out of their homes and living in shelters. I'm so glad I live on a hill! I feel bad for those who are not as fortunate though.
So far the 12 was the coldest its gotten so far. Weather is pretty crazy here, that's for sure.fishcatch22 said:really? with all the crazy continental weather you get there, i'd think you'd have it get down below zero a few times...
