Wet/dry vac for sucking off dirty water?

I have a small Shop Vac and I was wondering if I could use it to make water changes in my 150 gallon stock tank?

i wouldn't.i don't even know the stuff i've sucked up with my shop vac, but i wouldn't put it near my tank.just get a python and it'll also fill up your tank also.
