Roseline sharks--- I'd never seen them before. The pic (from azgardens, if it works) doesn't quite do them justice. Seeing these babies swim around in a heavily planted tank is quite a sight! The ones I saw today at the lfs for the first time were nearly 4" long and $50 a piece. They had some inch and a halfers for $36. I'll buy two dozen of them tonight, but only when I reach REM sleep.

Hey Mako. I love these little bueties too and my Lfs has around 10 in a planted tank just to tease and they are awesome unfortunately they don't sell them :mad2: . So good luck with them lol James

Hmmm...looks like what the LFS down here call "red (line) torpedo barbs(?)".
They go anywhere from $36 to $40.
One LFS had them for $20 on sale!
Ours are larger - more like 3" to 4".
Yeah, they are mesmerising to watch swimming around in the tank.
But for $20+ each?!?!

yeah i have one of those they are beutiful. when i first bought at some rare fish store i got it for $25 but within three weeks it died that fish store said that it is really sensitive and it probably just got spooked by another fish and hit itself on the head and died. i ended up finding it at a lfs for $10 so i got another and it is thriving and doing great!

They are nice fish, but I don't like them enough to pay over $20 a piece for them. I saw some at the lfs for $12 once though.

Theyre kinda spendy out here in the valley too, but they do look pretty sweet in a planted tank. Did you say you were gonna get two dozen of them? That would be impressive. One more question, whats REM sleep?
