What are these things ?

there are these little white dots on my back wall of my tank and it seems they are crawling around and "bouncing" on and off the glass ? what the heck are they ?

Could be Hydra, or maybe even snails...

I could also be wrong.

Bouncing on and off the glass? Not hydra or planaria methinks!

Could be ostracods, daphnia, cyclops - check these animals on www.google.com and see if any match up.

If they're 'skipping' across the water, it's probably cyclops.
If they're going through the water only, probably daphnia.

My betta jar has them, suppliments his food (which is good, cause I'm feeding him less to get rid of them)
